Trained at the Cleveland Clinic and Board-Certified in Psychiatric Medicine, Dr. Sabet uses all treatment modalities from the most current medications available to many alternative therapies such as herbal treatments, meditation and spirituality, light therapy, diet and exercise. He believes in treating the whole person, taking into account the interaction between the biological, psychosocial, and spiritual or existential dimensions.
INSURANCE: We will use the information you enter into our orange laptops to submit claims to your insurance as a courtesy. Payment for your appointment is always your responsibility, and is required at the time of service. If your insurance carrier remits payment to us after you have already paid for a service, we will issue a refund or credit towards future services.
BILLING: Call the billing office (440) 543-6688 with questions or concerns. Be sure to keep your billing information current by calling or entering any changes in insurance or demographics on the orange laptops when you check in. You can also email sabet.office@gmail.com
MESSAGES: Voicemail messages are checked regularly and calls will be returned within 24 hours in most cases. If case of emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
CONFIDENTIALITY: All information is confidential, and will not be shared (within legal parameters) unless you provide us with a signed Release of Information form. If you entered insurance information on the orange pads at check-in, you also signed a release to provide information for your insurance claims.
APPOINTMENTS: It works best to schedule your next appointment at the time of your visit to our office. If you find out later that you need to make a change, the best time to reach us is on weekday mornings. Our office is small enough to get to know you personally, and nimble enough for urgent and last minute appointments. At least 24 hours notice is required if you are unable to keep your appointment, or we must charge for office time reserved.
PRESCRIPTIONS: Remember to discuss all medication issues and ask for any needed refills at your appointment. We must charge a fee of $25 for phoned in prescription refills. If you need this service, be sure to give us your pharmacy phone number along with the medication you are requesting. Dr. Sabet provides medication management only in the context of regular follow-up appointments. Medication refills without checkups are bad medicine and will not be allowed.
AUTHORIZATIONS: If authorizations are needed by your insurance carrier for appointments with Dr. Sabet, it is your responsibility to obtain them. If your insurance requires prior authorization for a prescribed medication there is a $20 fee, due to the amount of staff time required for these lengthy phone calls. In most cases, Dr. Sabet can prescribe an alternative medication if you provide a list of approved medications, or prescribe a less expensive generic medication.
